OVERVIEW

Wintersport.com is a web platform that focuses on families and large groups who want to book a skiing holiday. Each member of a group can choose the number of travelers he wants to pay for. Only for themselves? For two people or for a whole group of 10 travelers? This platform makes it all possible. Wintersport.com is attractively designed, user-friendly and gives its customers complete freedom when booking. Code-on is the development partner in the development and further development of the site.

Design

Our main design goals were to create a visually simple design with a smooth user experience during the booking process and to make it easy for users to understand the principle of organising a trip online in a large group.

Web development

We not only developed and designed the back office of the booking platform, we also implemented API connections with Intercom, Mailchimp and Mollie. We also develop an API for stock management.

The back-office as well as the public website were carefully designed and developed based on a branding style of our client.

Challenge

Booking a ski trip for a group has many hurdles to overcome. Complex in the back-end, it should be simplified in terms of UI and UX. The platform allows people to book a tour in a group and choose whether to pay for each member, for particular members or just for yourself. Users can send out invitations with a link to a booking, letting their friends book and pay the same trip with the same conditions.

Travellers can select an extra service out of many suggested such as ski equipment, ski passes, bus transportations and even such fun options as a husky ride.
